Bean

I may not be the typical 28 year old San Francisco gal, but I believe that my life holds relevancy for most women in this city, trying to be their truest, best selves.

I quit my job right before everyone decided that it was not a good time to quit (or lose) your job. Oops. Oh well, continuing on with my plan, I threw myself into the role of Yoga Teacher (capitalized for emphasis, of course), along with hundreds of other new teachers. I was going to live the dream of the Obama era; find something I'm passionate about, live my fullest potential, and get rich doin' it! Okay, so the get rich part is taking a little longer than expected, but this adventure that I'm on could not be more fantastic. Granted, I have the support of my dear, dear friends, my loving boyfriend and a small nest egg from years of frugal spending.

Moving away from the social-networking, web 2.0 start-up phenom, I planted my feet firmly on the ground, placed my head purposely in the clouds and began my journey. Seven months later, one severance and three quarters of my paycheck poorer, I find myself at the forefront of my true journey. Making this all work and doing it my way. Being Myself. Bean Myself.
